Bush han declarado que algunas de las razones m\u00e1s importantes que les decidieron a votarle fueron su compromiso con los valores tradicionales y sus convicciones religiosas.<br \/>\nResulta realmente parad\u00f3jico que sectores de la poblaci\u00f3n, que han sido totalmente olvidados por las pol\u00edticas sociales de Bush, contribuyan destacadamente en su elecci\u00f3n s\u00f3lo porque defiende ciertos retr\u00f3grados valores y la religi\u00f3n cristiana y sus dogmas. Triunfan las creencias, la fe ciega, los mitos, las im\u00e1genes supuestamente heroicas, pero los hechos, los hechos desaparecen en el olvido.<br \/>\nLos valores de tolerancia, justicia e igualdad, se olvidan en aras de los poderes \u201cdivinos\u201d.<br \/>\nMe han interesado mucho las reflexiones de \u00abLakshmi Chaudhry\u00bb:http:\/\/www.alternet.org\/election04\/20406\/ en Alter-Net:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There are two Americas: one that values tolerance, justice, and equality; the other that believes in Divine Will. I&#8217;ve become just one among the sea of anonymous losers whose concerns and issues are simply not relevant any more.
