Resulta que en su \u00faltimo art\u00edculo en la revista de divulgaci\u00f3n \u00abNew Scientist\u00bb, titulado \u00abGlaciers are cool\u00bb:http:\/\/www.newscientist.com\/article.ns?id=mg18624950.100 (\u00abLos glaciares molan\u00bb) afirmaba que en contra de todas las investigaciones actuales los glaciares no se est\u00e1n descongelando, sino que est\u00e1n creciendo. Daba adem\u00e1s un impresionante dato, 555 de los 625 glaciares bajo observaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n creciendo.
\nEstas afirmaciones, m\u00e1s viniendo de \u00e9l, dan alas a todo tipo de especulaciones por parte de los grupos que dudan de la veracidad del cambio clim\u00e1tico, a saber, los grupos de presi\u00f3n en contra del acuerdo de Kioto, globalizadores a ultranza, neoliberales, etc.
\nGeorge Monbiot decidi\u00f3 investigar de donde hab\u00eda sacado sus datos David Bellamy, y lo descubri\u00f3. Primero pregunt\u00f3 al \u00abWorld Glacier Monitoring Service\u00bb:http:\/\/www.geo.unizh.ch\/wgms\/ que literalmente le dijo que los datos de Bellamy eran \u00abcomplete bullshit\u00bb (una total absurdidad o una puta mierda). Despu\u00e9s pregunt\u00f3 a Bellamy, que confes\u00f3 haberlos sacados de una p\u00e1gina web llamada \u00ab[\u00abIce age now\u00bb:http:\/\/www.iceagenow.com\/]\u00bb (\u00abGlaciaci\u00f3n ahora\u00bb), p\u00e1gina que est\u00e1 realizada por el antiguo arquitecto, Robert W. Felix. \u00bfLos datos? Tomados de un informe del conocido demagogo [\u00abLyndon Larouche\u00bb:http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lyndon_LaRouche#LaRouche_publications:]. Sin fuentes, o sea, inventados.
\nAdem\u00e1s las mentiras de Larouche fueron mal copiadas por Bellamy que se equivoc\u00f3 al escribir el original 55 % de Larouche y tecle\u00f3 555. Es casi de chiste.

You must, if you are David Bellamy, embrace instead the claims of an eccentric former architect, which are based on what appears to be a non-existent data set.
